correct capacity for stretchers in aluminum extrusion lines is usually based on the alloy, yield strength at the current temper,

PRESS SPECIFIC PRESSURE CALCULATIONS
-- Sometimes referred to as die face pressure, press specific pressure is
calculated by dividing press tonnage by the area of the container opening. Many press experts use this parameter to
determine the correct size relationship between press tons and billet diameter. Tables of press specific pressure, in
